“Released on Anterograde on June 10th, 2019, 2 Fast 2 Furious is all in the name. Listening to the EP is like racing along a dirt highway in a high-speed car chase at the end of the world. Your ute is on fire and your apocalyptic nemesis is hot on your heels. There's nothing left to lose and nothing left to gain.

Despite weaving through a multitude of high BPM genres, 2F2F's six songs have an unearthly synchronicity, moving through gabber, jungle, techno, and various shades of experimental electronics at breakneck speed. At first, the EP appears to be comprised exclusively of computer generated material; however beneath the surface, electromagnetic field recordings of power stations in the Blue Mountains have been used as sub bass & kicks, giving the tracks a grounded and naturalistic touch.

2F2F was recorded between 2017 and 2019 between Melbourne and the Blue Mountains. Aside from taking direct inspiration from The Fast And The Furious franchise and ACAB fantasies, the EP is a love letter to the hardcore continuum and portrays the magical realism of illegal raves.”
